The 2nd Avenue UPtown Park is a project of the Columbus Water Works. It is part of the Cities Combined Sewer Overflow System which collects and treats waste water during periods of heavy rainfall. The treatment and collection facility is located under the beautifully manicured park. The park provides the public with picnic facilities and is a popular place to meet and enjoy the scenery.
