Committees
|
The Columbus-Phenix City
Metropolitan Planning Organization (C-PCMPO) is comprised of
officials from local governments and private citizens
representing the population within the C-PCMPO study area.
The C-PCMPO is comprised
of three committees: the Policy Coordinating Committee (PCC),
which is at the top of the organization and establishes
policy guidelines and approves the work of the other
committees; the Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC),
which provides technical support and guidelines; and the
Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), which offers citizen
input into the overall local transportation process. A
listing of each of the committees functions are listed
below. Further explanation of the committees composition and
selection process is offered in the bylaws of the C-PCMPO,
and can be found on this web site.
