| The Columbus, Georgia Youth Advisory Council (or YAC) was created out of a joint partnership between the Columbus Consolidated Government and the Muscogee County School District. The Youth Advisory Council is designed to introduce Columbus youth to the process and functioning of a government, as well as increase youth participation in government policy making that will effect area youth. YAC meetings are held every 4th Monday of each month during the school term at the Columbus Consolidated Government Center building on the Plaza level. All meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Our meetings are also broadcast by CCG-TV, check your TV listings for the correct channel and time (look for Government Access Channel).
